We want it to be as easy and stress-free as possible when you move into one of our homes. This year we:

• Re-let almost 1,400 existing homes, with an average turnaround time of 33.6 days. The majority of these were general needs homes, which were re-let in an average of 20.3 days

• We let almost 500 brand new homes, which took just 6.8 days on average to prepare. 

We’ve improved how the teams who help you move in and out of your homes and garages work, making processes simpler and giving you better access to information, like new customer information packs, through our customer portal, MyAster.

We work closely with local councils to help reduce the time people spend in temporary housing.

Aster in the community

This year, the first customers moved into new homes built at The Silverton in East London. Designed to be genuinely affordable, the 62 homes support people to live well within a thriving, fast growing part of East London.
