We invested £83.4m during the year on maintaining and repairing our homes, ensuring they are safe to live in. This has included completing the first phase of our stock condition survey, a major project designed at understanding the condition of every home we own or manage, so that they can continue to be safe and secure for you to enjoy long into the future.

Our stock condition survey

We’re making sure that the information we have about our homes is accurate, so we can make the right investments over time. We’ve been carrying out a full stock condition survey, which also includes C&C, EBHT and Enham Trust homes, at a cost of £3.1m. We are one of only a few housing associations that has taken this vital step. We have now surveyed most of our homes and by doing so, it means we can plan for the long-term with confidence. This study means we can also invest and improve energy efficiency as part of our sustainability roadmap to 2050.

We are always looking for ways to be more sustainable and reduce the impact we have on the environment. We’ll continue this work and our updated sustainability plans will help us reduce emissions from our homes both now and into the future.
